Beginning his career in the field of Photovoltaics in 2008, Ross’ grounding was in contracting solar installations for retail businesses, Ross not only witnessed the many potential pitfalls, but also the enormous opportunities that existed in the Renewable Energy sector. This lead to the inception of Enervest in 2012 and its continual growth to a successful national operation determined by Ross’s values of frugality and his attention to detail.

Understanding what truly matters and seamlessly meeting these needs, down to the asset, level underpins the way Ross operates, both professionally and personally. He is often commended on providing clarity and demystifying the renewable investment sector for clients and friends alike. Passionate about leading delivery of good ecological and health outcomes through business innovation Andrew, along with MD Ross Warby, is active in overseeing Enervest's national and international growth. He ensures the company’s values of Integrity, Frugality and Ecology are practiced and enhanced throughout the organisation to align with partners and clients.

As our chairman, Andrew ensures Enervest continues to lead as an innovator in solar, wind and battery design, and installation for domestic, rural and commercial operations. His experience brings each site a uniquely designed optimal operation and the highest commercial value for our partner clients.

Bringing a practical approach to causes through business and stakeholder management, you will also find Andrew engaging students as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of New England, Armadale. As well as working with like-minded professionals as a member of the International Certification Standards Committee and chairing the not for profit services group Australian Organic Ltd.

Project Manager

Andrew has practised as a qualified Electrician for over 14 years. He began his career specialising in Heating and Cooling, then progressing into the growing renewable energy sector, expanding his expertise.

His ‘bayside’ lifestyle is indicative of all things ‘Andrew’. Enjoying time as surfer, fisherman and often under water as a scuba diver, he has a love of earthy experiences and getting outdoors.

Andrew is driven by his passion for an exemplary level of customer service. In his role as a Head Technician at Enervest, he is looked upon as thought leader and innovator striving for excellence in everything he does.

Kirstin joined the Enervest team mid 2017 and works closely alongside Ross to assist all aspects of daily operations run smoothly. She is new to the solar world, but is enjoying learning all aspects of the solar industry. Kirstin has always been passionate about the environment and is happy to be aligned with the core values and philosophy that Enervest holds.

Chris Hargreves

Inspection & Compliance Officer

Having served four decades in the trade of his passion, Chris Hargreves has had a hand in some of the most notable directions taken by the electrical energy industry in Victoria and throughout Australia. His love of all things electrical started at just four years of age when he witnessed the open back of a television set, revealing to him a world full of lit up valves and circuit boards. Chris’ inquisitive nature meant his passion only grew.

From working with Energy Safe as a Licensing and Electrical Inspector for 11 years to being re-elected recently as a Director on the Board of NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) for an extended tenure, Chris brings a unique set of expertise to Enervest in the role of a Certified Electrical Inspector and Consultant. Longevity and striving for perfection are the values he swears by, delivering best practices of the trade in all of his work.

Training for the trade early on and growing to lead other like-minded professionals nation-wide, Chris is now devoted to giving back to the industry. In his spare time, you will find him assisting young individuals through personal mentoring on pathway development and TAFE tutoring.

Nigel’s career began in the IT and Telecommunications sector, working with renowned brands like Panasonic and Hutchinson Systems, winning awards and recognition for his efforts along the journey.

In 2003, he entered the energy sector as an SEM Team Leader for VIC/SA for Energey Australia, which came to be Simply Energy after their merger in 2005.  Promoted to the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sales team, Nigel looked after some of the most recognised and trusted brands in the country, namely, Santos, Coles Myer, Toyota, Inghams Chicken and Crown to mention a few.

14 years later, through his consultancy work, Nigel’s mantra is to take an unbiased approach to energy audits and analysis. Lachlan Bateman

Lachlan chose a path into the Solar Industry following his graduation in 2003, with great foresight and passion for the growing field. His career took flight as a project engineer in a Melbourne based organisation where he was promptly recognised for his role in delivering several of Melbourne’s early stage commercial solar systems.
